"VICTORY" dalam acara Palestine Day (UI, 2009)

VOP Online-Tepat pada hari peringatan tragedi Nakbah yang jatuh tanggal 15 Mei 2009, Voice Of Palestine bersama Majalah Suara Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia menggelar sejumlah acara untuk memperingatinya sekaligus sebagai counter attack terhadap perayaan hari kemerdekaan sepihak oleh Israel.

Acara yang mengambil tema "The End of Israel" ini, berlangsung di Auditorium Pusat Studi Jepang Universitas Indonesia, Depok. Tampil sebagai pembuka acara adalah musikalisasi puisi oleh anak-anak UI, yang dilanjutkan screening movie "Israel is not real dan Victory produksi VOP dan talkshow yang menghadirkan dua narasumber, yaitu Dede Azwar (Madia Publishing) dan Prof. Dr. Ibnu Hamad (Pakar Komunikasi politik UI).

Puncak acara kali ini adalah penganugerahan award bagi para pemenang lomba Palestine Day yang diawali pembacaan puisi terbaik oleh ketua tim juri, Muhammad Maruf. Ada tiga kategori pemenang yaitu pemenang lomba esai , puisi , dan komentator terbaik artikel facebook VOP. Setelah pembagian hadiah, acara diikuti dengan doorprize untuk para tamu undangan. Setelah itu seluruh rangkaian acara ditutup dengan pembacaan doa oleh Ustad Indra dan dilanjutkan foto bersama panitia dan para pemenang lomba.(VOP/ab)
