Pawai Damai Palestina di Pantai Clifton, Karachi

VOP Online-pawai damai pembebasan Jerusalem berjalan lancar, 11/3, di pinggir laut arab, pantai Clifton Karachi. Lima ratus masyarakat Karachi tumpah ruah bergabung bersama dengan berbagai elemen; GMJ Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipina. Beragam yel, yel diteriakan oleh peserta kampanye, “free free Palestine, From the river to sea, Palestine will be free, one asia, united asia”.

Semangat bangsa asia nampak dalam parade ini. Negara-negara asia pernah mengalamai masa-masa gelap dibawah kolonialisme, tak ada kejahatan kolonialisme yang lebih nyata selain kolonialisme Israel di zaman modern. Cukup sudah penderitaan Palestana,  Palestina harus merdeka sekarang. Demikian dikatakan para orator dari Indonesia, Abdurrahman, Ma’ruf,  Malaysia, Nusrot, Philipina, Ali dan Dato Alonto, serta perwakilan dari Pakistan People Party (PPP), Awami Tehreek, Pakistan Tehreek Insaf, Mustafawi Student Movement federation, Jamiat Ulama Islam, Aawami,  Nataional Party, People Student Federation, Mutahid Talba Mahez.

Kegiatan ini diberi nama oleh panitia GMJ Pakistan, “Free Palestine Walk ” untuk mengekpresikan solidaritas  penderitaan bangsa Palestina. Program ini juga merupakan kegiatan di hari pertama kegaiatan GMJ di Pakistan. Senen pagi, 12/3, delegasi dari India akan bergabung dengan delegasi dari Indonesia, Philipina, Malaysia.
